Born in Germany, Lissa
came to the US when she was four. As a military dependent, she lived in
New Jersey, Virginia, Florida, and New York, before settling in Tucson,
Arizona, where she attended high school and the University of Arizona.
Since 1998 she has lived in Lafayette, Colorado, where, The Elemental Press was
born in 1999.
